Thanksgiving and Mom’s Birthday RIP

IMG_6106 Thanksgiving is always a hard time for me. Eleven years ago my mother passed away from Cancer which changed my entire world my diet, my attitude, and my focus. She was born on 24th of November, 1945.  A strong, loving lady who didn’t take no mess.  Seven siblings, and a slew of friends that had permission to whoop my ass if I got out of line. Funny, she’s still taking care of all of us to this day, real talk. Growing up in the Bronx, I got in a lot of trouble as a kid. She sent me Down South (Birmingham) every Summer to my uncles for more discipline. When I took a interest in Music, she put all her effort in supporting me so that I could have an advantage in life.

IMG_3022(2)This year alone, I’ve performed on five out of the seven continents with groundbreaking shows in; Sydney, Johannesburg, Brussels, Paris, Switzerland and Guyana not to mention favorites such as The Staples Center and Madison Square Garden. RIP MOM!! I know you’re watching over me.  I’m thankful for my health, life, and strength, friends that have been consistent in my life, family, doubters, music, happiness, Tastethestage and my mentors.
